1. We supply you with a special browser (located in your tarball in the bin directory called olbrowser.exe if you have trouble running olbrowser.exe then run olbrowser_static.exe Only works on window systems with IE 5 or greater installed) that you can use to launch Omnistar Live and you should launch the browser and go to www.yourdomain.com/support/staff/systray.php
2. As soon you go to this location login and launch the monitor window. Do not click on any other links when you go to this page, you should login and immediately click on the Launch Chat Monitor Window button. The monitor window should open up in the same special browser. If it does not open then re-try by closing all browsers and going back to this page and login again however this time make sure that the Launch Chat Monitor Window button first so that the monitor window opens in the OL Browser.
3. Now just minimize the chat browser and the browser will go to your system tray. When you have a new call, it will ring and pop-up out of the system tray. If you move your mouse over the system tray you will be able to see how many visitors are at your site.
4. Now to access your staff support area you should go to www.yourdomain.com/support/staff/systray.php from a regular browser while keeping the other window open in your system tray. Now you can manage your tickets and access your knowledgebase from this area and still keep the system monitoring your site for visitors that require chat and overall monitoring. |
